Operations & Customer Service
Customer Service Representative: Weekend Shift
Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher: Weekend Shift (Corporate Offices: Taylor, MI)

Location: Corporate Offices (Taylor, MI)
Responsible To: Center Manager
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Pay: $11.00 to $13.00 (per hour)

Summary: Weekend Shift, 8 am – 8 pm.

Summary of Responsibilities

 The Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher is responsible for communicating with our customers via phone, email and their websites/web-portals. They enter orders into our proprietary system and schedule deliveries as well as communicate with drivers as needed. He / She must champion Reliable Delivery’s brand, Leadership, products and services to ensure client satisfaction.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Take customer orders over phone/email to input into RD system.
  • Answer calls on “first” ring
  • Relate information back to our clients within 20 minutes..
  • Follow up on deliveries and resolve any and all driver or customers issues.
  • Work well with team members to guarantee exceptional delivery service.
  • Update customers’ online systems promptly and accurately.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES 

  • High school Diploma or equivalent for entry level.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of strong customer service experience in the transportation industry preferred but not required.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic management team.
  • Great note taker.
  • Excellent clerical skills.
  • Active listening skills.
  • Detail oriented and meticulous in nature.
  • Ability to show enthusiasm in face to face meetings with various customers.
  • Identifies significant problems and opportunities.
  • Relates and compares data from different sources
  • Very high energy level.
  • Highly approachable

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week

Summary: Monday – Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Summary of Responsibilities

The Heavy Freight Division Route Scheduler /Dispatcher is responsible for routing deliveries for “same day” and “next day” shipments as well as communicate daily with customers and drivers. He/She must champion Reliable Delivery’s brand, display their leadership abilities, help explain and offer additional services to ensure our clients’ total satisfaction.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Schedule next day deliveries and input them in our system.
  • Following up on deliveries and resolve customers issues.
  • Ability to assist with heavy lifting in the warehouse, as needed.
  • Must have a strong knowledge of our geographical area.
  • Flexible schedule with overtime availability.
  • Assist drivers with any routing and or delivery issues.
  • Work well with team members to guarantee exceptional deliveries.
  • Ability to assist with heavy lifting, as needed.
  • Has the ability to dispatch hundreds of orders daily using proprietary dispatch software.

Summary: Monday through Friday, 8-10 hours per day, Overtime after 40 Hours, Company Truck (24 ft. Straight Truck), Career Advancement

Pay: $14.00 per hour (starting pay)

Summary: The selected candidate will be working with Reliable Delivery customers, must be able to operate 24 ft. Straight Truck equipment and have the ability to work a 4-6 hour driving shift.

Sales Representative

Location: Corporate Office
Responsible To: Corporate Sales Manager
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: Base salary starting at $35,000.00 (Commission Plan and Benefits Package offered in addition to annual salary)

Summary: This position is a starting position within Reliable Delivery’s Sales Career Strategy. Successful representatives will attain a 15% increase within first 6 months along with their first promotional opportunity within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attain new business from inside marketing efforts and direct business to business sales calls.
  • Follow department’s “road map” to success in number of contacts per day, focused sales targets, revenue attainment goals and goals for number of new accounts.
  • Grow relationships with customers attained to ensure that Reliable Delivery is providing those customers with the best possible service.
  • Work with operational management to construct best opportunities to succeed in meeting customers’ delivery expectations.
  • Earn commission within first 6 months of employment.
  • Progress to Account Executive role within first year of employment.
